Kickstarters of Note

Kickstarters! I found you guys a whole bunch of random things that you might want to get into.

I should note that – literally, as I am typing this! – the guys and gals at Monte Cook Games are doing a live thing on Kickstarter, answering questions and talking about Numenera. You guys might want to take a look at that, on the assumption that they’re going to leave a copy up.

Philemon Vanderbeck Presents: The Desert Peach in Concert 2018:

I’m.. just going to pull a quote from the project’s description, because I can’t possibly describe this in any way that does it justice.
Donna Barr and T. Brian Wagner met each other at one of her infamous house parties (where she was costumed as Pfirsich). The soundtrack to the Rocky Horror Picture Show was playing, and when the song, “Toucha, toucha, touch me” began playing, Donna and T. Brian improvised a skit that had all the partygoers laughing uncontrollably. Plans were made to recreate the hilarity at an upcoming science-fiction convention, and resulting skits quickly became fan favorites (and the Peach Pitts were born). At some point, someone suggested that a musical be made, and we decided to take them seriously (because we deserved to).
They’re doing – redoing! – a musical. You should probably get in on this now; it sounds like it has the potential to be another Rocky Horror.
Gods help us all.

2nd Dynasty Presents: Starship – 3D printable OpenLOCK-compatible deck plans:

You will need access to a 3D printer to actually make use of these, and I confess, I have no idea what OpenLOCK is, but I’m always on the lookout for useful terrain, and this looks like a good source for useful terrain, for really cheap, looking at the conversion from SEK (Swedish Kronor) to US currency.

Red Leaf Games Presents: The Forgotten Tomb – Print and Play Dungeon Tiles:

This is paper-craft; looks like it can be slapped onto foam core, or not, as you like. Looks like a very simple setup, with walls, rooms, corridors and other useful bits. Corridors can be as narrow as five feet, or as wide as fifteen (on a one inch grid). Small rooms. Large rooms. Looks like it has some good flex.

Impudent Mortal Presents: THEO – The Hobby Equipment Organiser.

I’m fairly sure that I’m not the only miniature painter/general hobbier in the Portal’s general population who needs a set of this. It is entirely possible that some of it can be made to work for hobbies that don’t involve miniatures; there are drawers and things, as well as the paint racks that I am most familiar with.
It’s MDF, will probably require assembly and wood glue, as well as an assortment of clamps.

Monte Cook Games Presents: Numenera 2, Discovery and Destiny

Does anyone /not/ want more Numenera? More fluff and information on the setting, new goodies for the setting and, naturally, moar books. That, apparently, are completely backward compatible; this is not a new edition, despite the 2 in the title.
