Kickstarters of Note

Not so much this week; I had a third, but they canceled the project (which is a shame, generic modular dungeon pieces seem super useful even now), and .. well. Not much point mentioning it. So, short post.

As always, I want to hear about any neat kickstarters you guys might have stumbled over! Send me a ping, leave a comment, whatever, but share the wealth! You never know who might be interested.

Reaper Miniatures Presents: BONES IV

Bones IV is live until Sept. 2nd. Missed out on the first three? Now’s your chance. If you can’t throw a lot in, throw in a little, and pad it later with the pledge manager; as little as a dollar gets you access, and the ability to pick and choose whatever you want from the offerings (they usually have an option later that breaks up the Core set, if not the expansions).
The core set includes DRAGONS! – including Gauth – and some new things to go with all those mooks you never have enough of. As if that wasn’t enough, there will be expansions! Baby dragons! All kinds of awesome.
While Reaper has had some trouble fulfilling KS in the past, they have always come through eventually. Their customer service is excellent, and their miniatures are gorgeous.

Space Center Houston Presents: Restore Historic Mission Control

Most of us are probably not old enough to remember the day we put a man on the moon, much less bringing them all safely home again.
The old control center has become a sort of museum piece, and like most, requires upkeep. Check out the Kickstarter; they explain it better than I can summarize.
