Kickstarter Monthly

Hello again, fellow Portalites!

I spent a little while scrounging about for things we gamers might find useful or interesting, and this month’s offerings look like a lot of fun. Naturally, if someone stumbles over something of the kind, let me know!

In the meantime, on with the show!

Paymaster Games, Going Native: Aztecs, the Kings of War
Lookit all the couatl! This is marketed as a Warhammer-type wargame, but I see no reason one shouldn’t grab miniatures that interest you if strategy wargaming isn’t your bag. And the couatl are, in fact, beautiful.

I know nothing about the creators, or their track record.

Frog God Games, Perilous Vistas
TPP, yes. But I’ve never yet met the setting supplement I didn’t like for /something/. Maps, maybe. Material useful for mountain or swamp settings, definitely.

Frog God Games is known to me, but I have little information on their track record at present.

Planet Computers, Gemini PDA.
Gemini Mini-comp. Handy little device, from the looks. I’m not familiar with the device type, but if you need something in the Raspberry Pi range that does a couple of things the Pi doesn’t, this might be your device.

Ultimate Storage Solutions
Lovely wooden storage boxes for cards, dice and other gaming sundries. Or not-gaming sundries. Some very nice patterns and from the looks of the samples, as far as I can tell without handling them, they’re making nice boxes and trays.

I know nothing about the creators or their track record.

TPG, Stronghold on the Borderlands
Outdoor gaming terrain, resin, unpainted. Looks ideal for frontier games, or anything set somewhere that looks like the wrong side of Hadrian’s Wall. As log and stone fort setups go, this one looks like a nice one.

I know nothing about the creators or their track record.

Fenris Games, Rise of the Draugr.
Well, anything with a dragon involved is probably going to get my attention, but this has some nice sculpts. I understand there might also be a game involved that some of you might find interesting. And more than sufficient terrible puns in the pledge levels to keep us all entertained. Or horrified; take your pick.
