GM's Tip of the Week

It’s convention season again! That can often louse up your gaming schedule, even if you aren’t running live games. If you are, you have the problem of scheduling your game around the convention.
This can be as simple as skipping, or as complicated and expensive as figuring out a way to have your gaming group meet up at the convention to play there. This latter solution can actually be a handy one, as it opens the possibility of luring in new players, but with the expense of even a day pass and transportation, might be out of reach for many groups.
As a source for new players, gaming related goodies and social interaction, however, a game convention should not be overlooked as a group outing possibility.
