Gaming News
It’s been a while since the last time I went looking for gaming news; several things caught my eye since then:
- Virtual Table Top applications: Fantasy Grounds plans native support for Starfinder.
- BattleTech: Catalyst Games goes back in (game) time and fleshes out the backdrop for classic BattleTech. “Second Succession War” takes a look at the aftermath of the Amaris Civil War and the First Succession War.
- Starfinder: Not even out for a month, and there’s already third-party support for Paizo’s new d20 game. “Starfarer’s Companion” updates a lot of classical d20 content for Starfinder; “Legendary Planets” is an upcoming third party adventure path;
- Warhammer 40k gets another RPG system: “Wrath & Glory” by Ulisses Spiele North America
- Finally, one edition after its supposed release, D&D Beyond is going live.
- Munchkin gets a collectible card game?
- The old, old Star Wars RPG by West End Games is seeing a reprint.
- Numenera is already getting a second edition. Not sure what to think about that
